How Outfitter’s hiring ads work
Outfitter’s hiring ads are local job ads on Facebook and Instagram. Emma, your AI agent, builds and runs them from the job, pay and schedule you give her. Each ad leads with the pay and the towns you work in. Every applicant’s name, phone and email reaches you by text and email the moment they apply. Ad spend comes from your tokens at cost plus 30%.
Who it’s for: Owner-operators and small crews who need techs, helpers, cleaners or crew members without posting on job boards.
What happens when you need to hire
- You tell Emma the job: the title, the pay, the schedule and a few lines about the work. She can write the description from your answers, and you change any word.
- We build the ad: a hiring card with your logo, the pay in big numbers and your towns. A short video from your project photos runs with it.
- The ad runs on Facebook and Instagram around your area, from our ad account. You don’t need a Facebook page or Ads Manager.
- A job seeker taps Apply and enters a name, phone and email without leaving the app.
- You get a text and an email right away. You call the ones you like.
What an Outfitter hiring ad is
It’s one job ad and one short application. There are no job boards to post on and no applicant portal to log into.
The ad leads with what a job seeker wants to know: the job, the pay and where it is. People scroll past vague ads. An ad that says “Roofing crew members, $24–30 an hour, Maple Grove, Plymouth, Rogers” gets the right people to stop.
Your logo and colors are on it, and the short video uses photos of your real work. Applying takes about 30 seconds, inside Facebook or Instagram, so applicants never leave the app.
How it compares to job boards and asking around
Most trade owners hire by asking around, or by posting on a job board and checking one more inbox. Both eat time you’d rather spend on the job.
With Outfitter, the applicant comes to the phone you already carry. The text has their name, number and email, so you can tap to call between jobs. There’s nothing to log into.
The hiring ad runs as its own campaign next to any customer ads. In your dashboard, applicants are kept apart from customer leads. A cleaner looking for work never gets mixed up with a homeowner asking for a quote.
Changing the job or pausing the ad
Pay changes. Schedules change. Change the title, pay or description in your workspace and the ad updates. When you’ve filled the spot, pause it. Need help again next season? Turn it back on.
What it costs
Recruiting is free to join as part of Sales & Marketing. We build and run your hiring ads at no extra charge. Ad spend comes from your tokens (1 token = 1¢) at cost plus 30%, or 130 tokens per $1. It runs on its own budget.
What it won’t do
- Your pay range is always shown when you give one.
- We never text applicants. They come to you, and you decide who to call.
- Applicants are yours and never shown to anyone else.
- Hiring ads run on their own budget, so they never eat into your customer ads.
An example
A cleaning company needs house cleaners for weekday shifts. The owner texts Emma: house cleaners, $20–24 an hour, weekdays, no nights or weekends, Apple Valley, Eagan and Lakeville. The ad runs with that pay up top. Monday morning her phone buzzes: “New applicant from your hiring ad: Maria L.,” with a number and an email. She calls Maria between houses.
