Outfitter Learn · Pricing and tokens · Question

Can I pause or stop any time?

The short answer

Yes. You can pause ads, turn off Front Desk or turn off auto-refill whenever you want, and nothing more is charged. Unused tokens stay in your account and never expire, so you can pick back up later. There’s no contract and no plan to cancel.

From Outfitter AI · Updated October 11, 2026

Who it’s for: Seasonal trades and busy owners who need to slow the work coming in without losing their setup.

What happens when you pause or stop

  1. You change your budget or stop from your dashboard. Stopped ads stop at once.
  2. Postcards you haven’t approved never go out.
  3. For Front Desk, one code turns forwarding off and your line is exactly as it was.
  4. Your tokens stay in your account, and your free website stays live.

What it costs

Pausing costs nothing. Tokens are only spent on what runs.

What it won’t do

An example

A lawn care owner is booked solid by mid-May. He pauses his Facebook ads so he isn’t sending homeowners to a full calendar. In August, with openings for fall cleanups, he turns them back on. His leftover tokens were waiting.

Common questions

Will I lose my tokens if I stop?
No. Unused tokens stay in your account and never expire.
Can I pause just one thing?
Yes. Pause ads, turn off Front Desk or stop a hiring ad on its own. The rest keeps running.
What happens to my phone line if I turn off Front Desk?
Turn forwarding off with one code and your line is exactly as it was. Your transcripts stay in your workspace until you close the account.
Can I pause the zone plan for winter?
Not yet. For now you can drop to one zone, or cancel and come back. Your zones are held 30 days after a cancel.
