Outfitter Learn · Website · Question
Can I use my own web address?
Yes, with Website Professional at $79 a month. You can pick a new web address that fits your company, at no extra cost. Or use a domain you already own. On the free plan, your site stays at getoutfitter.ai/site/your-name with a small Outfitter banner.
Who it’s for: Owners who want homeowners to see their company name, not ours, in the address bar.
What happens when you move to your own address
- Build your site first. It goes live at getoutfitter.ai/site/your-name the same call.
- Upgrade to Professional from your workspace, and choose a new address or tell us the one you already have.
- Your site moves to your name, the banner comes off, and it’s submitted to Google right away.
Why your own address matters
An address with your company name is easier to paint on a truck or say over the phone. A homeowner who saw your trailer at a neighbor’s house can type it from memory. A site on getoutfitter.ai still gets found and still takes requests; your own address is about putting your name on it.
What it costs
Your own address comes with Website Professional: $79 a month, or $799 a year paid annually. A new web address is included. The first 30 days are free, with no contract.
What it won’t do
- Your own address needs Website Professional. The free plan uses getoutfitter.ai/site/your-name.
- If you cancel Professional, your site stays up on the free plan.
- You can upgrade once your free site is live.
An example
BuildFlow Basements runs its website on Outfitter at its own address, buildflowbasements.com. Homeowners in the Twin Cities see the company’s name in the address bar, not ours.
