What does Front Desk cost?
Front Desk is free to join as part of Sales & Marketing. You pay only for the minutes it spends on the phone with your callers: 35 tokens, or 35¢, a minute. $35 buys 3,500 tokens, about 100 minutes or 18 typical calls, and tokens never expire.
Who it’s for: Contractors comparing an AI receptionist against voicemail, a human answering service or hiring office help.
How paying for Front Desk works
You save a card when you start. Nothing is charged.
You buy tokens when you choose: 3,500 for $35, 10,500 for $105, or any amount from $35 to $5,000. 1 token is 1¢.
Each minute Front Desk spends with a caller uses 35 tokens. Your workspace shows where every token went.
Auto-refill is on when you start: below 1,000 tokens, we add 10,500 for $105. Turn it off any time.
Compared to a human answering service
Most trade-contractor answering services run $400–$800 a month for 60–90 minutes of answer time, with per-minute overage on top. Front Desk has no monthly fee. You pay for the minutes it works, and a 300-minute month comes to $105.
What it costs
35¢ a minute from your tokens. Free: setting it up, changing it and calling it for your messages. A busy month with 300 minutes of calls is 10,500 tokens, $105.
What it won’t do
No contract and no plan to cancel. Turn off auto-refill and nothing more is charged.
With auto-refill off and no tokens left, Front Desk takes short voicemails and texts you to say so. Those aren’t counted.
The same tokens pay for your ads and postcards.
An example
A handyman misses about 35 calls a month while he’s working. At six minutes each, that’s 210 minutes, or $73.50 in tokens. One $105 top-up covers the month with tokens left over for next month.
