BuildFlow Basements: Outfitter’s first client sample
BuildFlow Basements is Outfitter’s first account: a Twin Cities basement design company run by Outfitter’s founder. There, Emma talks a homeowner through their basement out loud and renders it with real products. She prices it with BuildFlow’s own pricing engine and sets up the in-home measure-up, in about five minutes. Every feature BuildFlow needs gets built into Outfitter first.
Who it’s for: Contractors who want to see Outfitter running for a real company before they put their own name on it.
What a BuildFlow homeowner sees
- They tap one button and talk to Emma in the browser. She says up front she’s an AI.
- She names the licensed local contractor who would come to the house.
- They pick real products and see their basement rendered in those finishes.
- They get a price range and a proposal page they keep, even if they never hire BuildFlow.
- They pick an open evening or weekend time for the in-home measure-up.
Why a client sample we run ourselves
BuildFlow is treated like any other Outfitter customer. Its website runs on Outfitter. Its ads are the ones we test before they go near yours. And Emma’s basement knowledge is published in public, in Emma’s Basement Design Journal.
Read everything Emma does for BuildFlow, or be the homeowner yourself on the live estimator. It takes about five minutes.
What it won’t do
- BuildFlow doesn’t build. It designs and prices; licensed, insured local contractors build, at one fixed price agreed before work starts.
- Emma doesn’t invent prices. Every number comes from BuildFlow’s pricing engine.
- Emma doesn’t replace the site visit. The measure-up confirms the size and the house’s conditions.
- Renderings are labeled illustrative.
An example
BuildFlow’s own Facebook ad offers 20 basement designs built for a house like theirs. Each comes with a floor plan, 3D renderings and materials, before they talk to anyone. That’s the kind of ad Outfitter partners start from, tested with BuildFlow’s money first.
