Outfitter Learn · Emma, your AI agent · Question
How do I give Emma work?
You give Emma work the way you’d hand it to a good office manager. Call or text her at your one Outfitter number, or chat with her in your workspace. Say it in plain words: “change the tune-up price.” There’s no app to learn and no ad account to log into.
Who it’s for: Any trade owner who would rather send a text from the truck than learn new software.
What happens after you ask
- Text a website change, like a new price, a photo or a whole service page, and it goes live.
- Tell her who you’re hiring and what it pays. She can write the job description from your answers, and you can change any word.
- Send a happy customer’s name and number, and they get a review request with a one-tap link to your Google page.
- Call your own line and Front Desk knows it’s you. Say “give the inspector my cell.” She reads it back and you say yes. The next inspector gets your cell.
What to say to Emma
Talk to her the way you’d talk to someone who works for you. Short is fine. “Add a page for gutter guards.” “Pause the hiring ad, we filled the spot.” “Read me today’s messages.”
If a request would spend money, like a postcard drop, you see the price before anything happens.
What it costs
Texting Emma is free. Tasks your agent completes on calls use tokens at 25 cents a minute (1 token = 1 cent). Setting up Front Desk, changing her and calling her for your messages are always free. Whatever a task runs, like ads or postcards, comes from the same balance at the prices on the pricing page.
What it won’t do
- Anything that spends money, like ads or a postcard drop, waits for your OK.
- Emma only does what she’s been given permission to do.
- Give her the facts she needs, like your prices. She won’t make one up.
An example
A painter wraps up a kitchen at 3pm. From the driveway he texts Emma a photo and one sentence. It goes up as a post on his Google profile. Then he texts the homeowner’s name and number, and a review request goes out. He never opened a laptop.
